Frequently asked questions

Click on the ‘Get Started’ tab and fill out the required form. Once submitted, we will reach out via text or phone call to get started with a free 15 minute consultation.
We are open Monday-Thursday from 8AM to 5 PM and Fridays from 8 AM to 12 PM.
Please call us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel your appointment. As part of your financial responsibility, Happy Days Pediatric Therapy, LLC reserves the right to charge a fee for any appointment that is not provided a 24 hours advance notice. If you fail to follow these policies, you will be subject to a fee. Unforeseen circumstances are anticipated and will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Insurance will not cover this fee.
Deductible: a specified amount of money that the family must pay before an insurance company will pay a claim.
Copay: a set amount to be paid by the family per date of service regardless of the deductible amount or if the deductible is met.
Coinsurance: a percentage to be paid by the family per date of service once the deductible amount is satisfied.
This will depend on your insurance coverage. We suggest that you reach out to your insurance company to understand your benefits.
During the new patient intake process, we will discuss benefits and estimate the cost for therapy. We have private pay options available as well as alternative funding sources.
If you switch insurances while your child is receiving occupational therapy services from us - please inform us at info@happydayspediatrictherapy.com (mailto:info@happydayspediatrictherapy.com)to provide us with your new insurance card.
We currently accept Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Amerigroup, Caresource and Medicaid. If we currently don’t accept your insurance, we also have an option to privately pay for sessions.
We currently provide occupational therapy services at Happys Days Pediatric Therapy, LLC.
All therapists at our clinic are licensed and certified in occupational therapy, ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications and standards.
We treat a wide range of conditions. Some of the conditions we treat include; Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, hemiparesis, learning disabilities, neurological disorders, and etc.
Progress varies from child to child. It depends on the condition and the child/families’ commitment to therapy. Your therapist will regularly assess your child's progress and make adjustments as needed.
Occupational therapy sessions typically last for 30 or 60 minutes.
Your therapist will discuss with you the findings of your child’s evaluation report and their recommendations for frequency of sessions per week/month.
Yes! In the event that you are seeking insurance reimbursement, please provide us with your child’s pediatrician. We will reach out to the pediatrician office and have a script sent over to our office.
Family members or caregivers can usually attend therapy sessions. In most cases, a parent's involvement can be beneficial for learning how to support your progress at home. However, if a child demonstrates difficulty engaging in activities with family members being present - we may have family members wait outside of the therapy room.
